Celebrate World Kidney Day with Johns Hopkins

During the month of March, we celebrate World Kidney Day to raise awareness about kidney health and to reduce the frequency and impact of kidney disease and its associated health problems.

This year, we are raising funds that will support the Johns Hopkins Kidney Care Fund. The Kidney Care Fund enables the Division of Nephrology to support patient care needs, filling gaps in healthcare costs for patients living with kidney disease that are not covered by insurance, including transportation costs to prevent patients from missing appointments or resources to help with kidney care at home. In addition, this fund can support community screening programs to detect kidney disease earlier, linking patients to care and providing timely medical intervention to improve long-term outcomes, and patient education programs.

While we have provided some suggested levels on this page, please know a gift of any amount will provide meaningful support. Thank you for your consideration, and whether or not you are able to support, we hope you join the Johns Hopkins Division of Nephrology in celebrating your kidneys with World Kidney Day!
