Celebrate World Kidney Day with Johns Hopkins
Celebrate World Kidney Day with Johns Hopkins
During the month of March, we celebrate World Kidney Day to raise awareness about kidney health and to reduce the frequency and impact of kidney disease and its associated health problems.
This year, we are raising funds that will support early-stage research in the Division of Nephrology, particularly for young investigators. Our team are engaged in groundbreaking research in every area of kidney disease and kidney transplant, and have been recognized for their expertise and ideas through substantial grants from the government and other sources that have made life-saving discoveries and tangibly improved outcomes for patients. In order to advance this research, however, initial funds are needed to test hypotheses and collect data, particularly for earlier-career investigators. Funds from this campaign will directly support innovative ideas in kidney health.
Thank you for your consideration, and whether or not you are able to support, we hope you join the Johns Hopkins Division of Nephrology in celebrating your kidneys with World Kidney Day!
