Will You Help Us Support the Pediatrics Department?  

A Letter from the Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center Foundation Board Chair:

On behalf of the Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center Foundation Board of Directors, thank you for your support of our hospital.  As individuals who live or work in Howard County, we are proud to stand for our community hospital, because the hospital has always been there for us. 

Many of us have seen firsthand the impact of this care through our own families, particularly within the Pediatric Department, which includes a Pediatric Emergency Unit, Pediatric Inpatient Unit, and Child & Adolescent Support Area.  

For this reason, the Board has committed to fundraising to support the Pediatrics Department at Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center.   The effort is centered on enhancing the care experience for children and families in our community. As patient volumes increase and needs become more complex, it is important to create environments that support safe, efficient, and compassionate care.
