Brooke & Annabelle's CFS Program Fundraiser

Hello & Happy Spring!

Our names are Brooke Chappell and Annabelle Wick, and we are currently finishing senior year at the National Cathedral School! As you may know, we've spent the past few years working to support local pediatric medical centers through our school club. As our final project before graduating this June, we have chosen to support a cause that is both deeply meaningful and personal to us. We are proud to support the Chronic Fatigue Program at Johns Hopkins Children's Center, led by Dr. Peter Rowe!

In early 2022, during the third quarter of our freshman years, Brooke unexpectedly became very sick. After many months without answers or treatment, Brooke and her family found hope and answers through Dr. Rowe and his team at Hopkins in Baltimore. This program made it possible for her to attend The Island School and graduate from NCS! We are incredibly grateful for the clinic's relentless work in fighting for me and countless other patients with similar stories.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 which will help Dr. Rowe, and his colleagues conduct a significant and groundbreaking research study on chronic fatigue-related disorders. This study aims to help children and young women like Brooke that experience such chronic illnesses.
