Join us in Celebrating World Kidney Day!
During the month of March, we celebrate World Kidney Day to raise awareness for kidney health and to reduce the frequency and impact of kidney disease and its associated health problems.
“Are Your Kidneys OK? Detect early, protect kidney health.”
The main job of your kidneys is to remove toxins and excess water from your blood. Kidneys also help to control your blood pressure, produce red blood cells, and to keep your bones healthy. Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is extremely common, with 1 in 10 adults having some form of kidney damage.
With your help, we hope to spread the word about the importance of detecting early to protect kidney health, raise donations for patient education and emergency support, and prevent people from dying prematurely of complications related to CKD.
