Join us in celebrating the annual Prostatis Financial Advisors Group Crab Feast, this year supporting the Child Life Department and the Pediatric Palliative Care team at Johns Hopkins Children's Center.
The Child Life Department aims to address the emotional and social well-being of children and families by promoting effective coping through developmentally appropriate education, preparation, procedural support, and therapeutic play opportunities. If considering a toy donation, please use the approved list of toys. These items were curated by the Child Life team and include items in high demand that will be put to immediate use. These items are helping to restore a child's sense of normalcy, providing opportunities for joy and laughter while dealing with a hospitalization.
Johns Hopkins Children's Center is home to the only Pediatric Palliative Care team in the state of Maryland. This multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, certified child life specialists, fellows, and chaplains serves our most complex patient population—those with life-threatening or life-limiting conditions. The team works directly with and on behalf of families to ensure best possible outcomes, enhance quality of life, and advocate for families’ goals and wishes.
Both of these teams have a very meaningful connection to our Prostatis family, and we greatly appreciate your support to improve the lives of pediatric patients served by Johns Hopkins Children's Center. You never know when your family may need the services offered by the Children's Center, and we are happy to support a world-renowned institute right in our own backyard.
