As you know, today would have been Solbert (Sol) Permutt’s 100th birthday. When thinking about Dr. Permutt’s many contributions, we kept coming back to the impact he had as an educator, colleague, and mentor. He had a unique gift for knowing how to inspire.
We would like to take this opportunity to commemorate Dr. Permutt's birthday by creating the Solbert (Sol) Permutt, M.D. Early Scholars Fund. This fund will be used to support fellows and early-career faculty who show the same curiosity and passion that marked Dr. Permutt’s incredible career.
In the spirit of remembering Dr. Permutt's wonderful attributes, we selected giving societies that we hope reflect his accomplishments, his character, and his never-ending journey in seeking the truth. With that said, every gift, no matter the size, is vital for supporting our the research being conducted by our fellows and early-career faculty.
