Support ARVC Research in Memory of Katie Gallagher Goese

Katherine Gallagher Goese (Katie) passed away in her sleep on Friday, November 1, 2024 at the age of 65 in La Jolla, California. Katie leaves behind her loving family: husband Dan Goese, her children Mickey (Rue) Goese, Maddie (Eyad) Sayabalian, Callie Goese, and her granddaughters Cassia and Sienna Goese.

Katie attended grade school at St. Joan of Arc in Evanston, Illinois and Saints Faith, Hope and Charity in Winnetka, Illinois. She went to high school at Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart in Lake Forest, Illinois where she played tennis and basketball and was involved in many clubs. Katie received her BA from Boston College where she majored in Studio Art.

Katie was a talented artist, whose work has been shown in numerous galleries. She was an avid reader, and a “classics” movie buff. She was fun-loving, had a great sense of humor and was a loyal friend to many. Katie will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

ARVC is a rare and often misunderstood condition that needs greater awareness. This page honors the legacy of Katie Gallagher Goese by advancing research and offering hope to families impacted by this condition.

Thank you for helping us make a difference in her memory.
