Since its inception in 2011, Club Memory has grown exponentially in response to member and community needs. The stigma-free programming and this vibrant community today supports more than 800 people in all eight wards in the District of Columbia, as well as in the surrounding areas of Maryland and Virginia. The activities, resources and discussions help our members and their care partners adjust to life with memory or cognitive impairment and caring for loved ones. This community has made an indelible impact on the lives and families of so many.
But, we can do more! With your support, we can:
- bring more people into our community
- provide Spanish language programming
- offer more exercise classes
- provide dementia education to additional faith communities & senior centers
- provide more training for our caregivers
- host respite opportunities for our caregivers
Philanthropy has been instrumental in the development and expansion of Club Memory over the past decade, and we are deeply grateful for every contribution. Thank you for helping us to continue to grow, as a program and as a community!
