Sponsor a School of Medicine Graduate Student’s White Coat
The Graduate Coating Ceremony is a Johns Hopkins tradition honoring the achievement of our graduate students. While coating ceremonies are common for M.D. students, the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine is one of few institutions in the country to host a ceremony for its graduate students.
Be part of this tradition by sponsoring a white coat for a graduate student.
A gift of $50 provides a lab coat for a graduate student, or you can show your support with a gift of any amount that is meaningful to you. Each coat is embroidered with the student’s name and with a graduate student pin representing the unity of Johns Hopkins School of Medicine graduate programs.
Lab coats will be presented at the Graduate Coating Ceremony in November. With their families, peers and mentors as witnesses, each student recites the graduate student oath, a commitment to our professional values as they embark on careers as scientists.
Your gift makes a difference. Thank you for supporting our graduate students as they take this important step in their careers in science and medicine.
***Your donation will be gifted through the Johns Hopkins Medicine Alumni Association.
***All gifts from this campaign will go towards the white coats and/or related activities.
